Horizon Suite Hotel

Hi!

I am moving to HK for 2 years. I would like to know if anyone has stayed at the Horizon Suite Hotel in Shatin. I think its near Tolu Harbour. I would like to know of your experience(s) and recommendations. Thanks!

Hi

I lived there for a year in 2004.

Found it very pleasant with nice views of Tolo Harbour and helpful staff. Large swimming pool and small gym. The shuttle bus service to Sha Tin, TST and Ma On Shan is very good and the small Park and Shop has a good selection of every day items to buy. The laundry/dry cleaners are very quick and efficient.

Also the walk/cycle track right in front of the Hotel is very good for exercise and relaxation.

The one minus point is as it is classed as a hotel the Hong Kong Post Office do not redirect mail when you leave there - so give everyone plenty of warning when you leave.
