Any other landlords out there with experience in HK who can advise on the following:-

If mold forms on the walls during a lease, is that the tenants responsibility to fix as they did not prevent the mold which is a result of the humidity? Note that there are de-humidifiers in each room.

Thanks

I disagree, there's not much you can do about mold in HK apart from provide de-humidifiers. The tenants are leasing the place and the fault is not structural. The tenants are not living in a hotel. Nevertheless, a good tenant will inform the landlord of the problem and a good landlord will want to look at any problem and turn up with a bucket of water, a sponge and some bleach. Politely ask the tenants to keep the dehumidifiers on and remind them that this only occurs in spring. No point in getting into a legal quagmire over mold.
