I was out to Park Island yesterday and I have to say it was beautiful!! Very clean, stylish and park like (go figure). What I don't understand is why it isn't more popular? It is only 20 minutes by ferry to IFC and about the same by MTR. What are your experiences living there?

I guess the short answer is that Park Island has many of the disadvantages of Discovery Bay with few of the advantages. But I guess you know that already, or you would be living in the apartment you are advertising in Ma Wan!

Yes I do have a flat there but I have too big of a family and too many dogs to live in a flat just yet. I have to wait until they (or at least some of them) head off to university. (The kids, not the dogs.) I just love walking around there and I wonder why the area isn't more popular. I live out in the NT where it takes about an hour (sometimes more during peak times)to head into Central but I love the country walks here etc. Park Island has the convenience of proximity to Central plus the country feel. I haven't lived in Park Island yet and I do wonder what it is like for people that do live there. Cheers!
