Village house - Tung Chung/Sai Kung/CWB

I am now living in an apartment in DB but am considering moving to a village house in Tung Chung, Sai Kung/CWB - would even consider Tai Po if suitable.


Only reason is I like to have more space so we are talking about perhaps, 1400 or more for a village house. There are no children but we have 2 dogs hence the need for a garden. We like DB because of the open space where the dogs can romp especially near the golf course but the cost of living is high. I have been informed that a village house in Tung Chung (15 minutes walk to the MTR) is about $5M. We don't use club facilities so will not miss it. Would really appreciate any comments and advice, please. To those already living in village houses, can I ask if it is really noisy (dogs barking etc) and unsafe as is commonly known?
