I'm 12 months into a 24 month lease on a property in Jardines Lookout. In March this year we were notified by the Governmnet that there is an illegal structure on the property and it needs to be removed immediatley as its dangerous. I've passed on all the information to the Landlord, and spoken to him a few times, but still the illegal structure has not been removed. On this basis, can I break the lease, and move out - without too much risk of the Lanlord taking me to court. Thanks for your advice.
