When looking at properties, be sure to read every line of what they ask you to sign. The trick they pull is to wait until the very end of your appointments when you are in a hurry to go somewhere else. Then you are given a "standard agreement" that they say everyone signs. Be sure you know what you are expected to pay and why.
I have just been burned badly by an agency that caters to expats. Yes, they do, and they assume we are trusting fools and take advantage of us. So don't get caught paying more commission than you should just because you are too busy to read the fine print. All their agents seem very nice and professional - but do not trust them.
I got taken advantage of when I was to busy to read 3 pages of fine print.
ED's NOTE: we dont allow negative comments about companies - i have removed the mention of the company name
