Last year in mad March, I met a guy through AsiaXpat personal ad. We met few times but surprisingly I super super love him! You know what: one of his friends is my FB friend. Should I tell his friend this? Good or bad? Go on or I better stop?

you are not mature enough if you can not keep a secret.

Ok. I can keep this beautiful secret forever ever. His birthday is coming next month. I want to give a romantic surprise to him. Teach me what to do. Thank you!

how old are you? You seem rather young or very immature to say the least
Why are you asking this question more than a year later? If nothing happen since then, what's to tell?

"Why are you asking this question more than a year later?" Be-cause my Asian values deter the development of this relationship.
Yep. I'm serious: as his birthday is June 2. I want to give a romantic surprise to him. Teach me what to do. Thanks in advance.

What has your relationship got to do with your common friend? I mean, why would you tell his friend about a personal ad that he wrote and you answered? That's ....err..... between the two of you, isn't it?
Yeah, you strike us as being very young.
If you like him, enjoy the relationship. No need to ask whether you should tell the common friend or not. None of his business.

Good idea. Thanks!
I am trying to write a meaningful birthday card to him.
In the first line, what should I write?

Honey, if you have only met him a few times, this super super love him stuff may well scare him off. (Check out a funny book called How To Lose A Guy In Ten Days). Nice birthday meal, not too much on the candle stuff. And birthday card, keep it light, something like "Thank you for making me smile! Have a wonderful birthday!"
If you really have only met a few times, it can't really be meaningful yet. Many many guys will run a mile if you overdo it. Go easy. That's my 'teaching' anyway, and good luck!
