The tag-line of the Cartier ad in the Post magazine this morning struck me, so I write it here as a question :
How far would you go for Love?

Literally, 12 hours non-stop flight.
Figuratively speaking, Familial love. Unmeasurable. I left home at 19 leaving behind the man I've ever truly loved, an active social life and college life where I was paid to go to school. That was 17 years ago, and for the first 15 years 95% of my salary went to support my family ( they still get 100% of the minimum wage)
For that One man.... as far as it will take for him to stand by the door, watch me as I busy myself at work or cooking our dinner -- uncombed hair, flour on my face , you get the picture) and for his heart to swell with love and pride, knowing that I am his woman. Never mind that an hour ago I was his least favorite person because of the very same "argument" -- how many shoes does a woman has to have, or hand bags or clothes or what are these 500 items in the bathroom that looks foreign to him.
