lamma> just saying i am old.
Please support our advertisers:
No! No, Lulu!
I honestly mean I don't know what all the acronyms stand for!!
It's a foreign language to me; I hate jargon at the best of times; preferring the good old fashioned whole word, but there you go...
As a result, when I here 'ABC', 'CBC', I don't have the foggiest what anyone is saying!!
I'd rather read Arabic!

Ahhhhh! I can sigh a breath of relief now...
I won't remember next week as I seem to have an aversion to compounded words like, gr8, c u l8r... ooh! I get shuddery writing it...
Anyway! Thank you for bringing me up to speed. As it happens, now I understand what you are all talking about, I don't have anything worth saying!!

EBC (Egyptian Born Chinese)
NBC (Nigerian born chinese)
Mmmm ... I would prefer the word Chinese without discrimination of where anyone raised.... aren't they all chinese?
Please support our advertisers:
ABC - Australian Born Chinese
IBC - Indian Born Chinese / or does that stand for the International Bank of China?
CBC - Chinese Born Chinese.....
I could go on but I should be studying...
Please support our advertisers:
Exactly!!
Depends what profession you're in as to what you could be talking about!!
Let's stick to the plain, humble, yet eloquent word.
Flabbergasted - get back to studying!! You've got your test in a couple of days!!!
Good luck BTW!!! (Ha! I can do it.... but I feel cheapened somehow...)

Ezekiel, Your location is HK, right?
You should adapt to the cults and trends here, or else I'm not surprised that you'll be boycotted soon.
Anyhow, you probably are already...

Jaded Ezekiel does not respond to the thread at all...hahaha....how sad. Anyhow, let live!
Twotails32 - Almost forgot to tell you that yoga classes, salsa classes, gourmet stores are also worth visiting in meeting those ladies!
Good luck!

Twotails32 - Sure, you wont be alone! U just have to go there yourself, like running your errands!
OK.
Salsa: The Fringe Club (for free style and classes, also their art exhibitions and live performances are very worthwile visiting), Saturdays at Regal HK Hotel in CWB (forgot the time for 1 hr class, 8 or 8:30PM followed by dancing for the rest of the evening @ around HK$ 180), Coyote on Saturdays (no classes, just drinks and dancing)
Yoga: Health clubs with a variety of budgets, but the clientele of Physical COULD be conservatively local at times. Pure fitness and Fitness First's clientele are much more friendlier and open for conversation.
Most of those neighbourhood dance schools with yoga classes are for couples or housewives, which are not really the type that you're looking for.
Happy searching!
P.S. Feel free to let me know how it went or just for more spiritual support..Cheers!

Is LUX fun? Hey I heard of this new club that charges HK300 for entrance.
Please support our advertisers:
Freshjive - Lux in HK is fun, because of its open view on the corner at LKF. Let us know when you're in HK to show you around! Cheers,

You cannot miss Lux : when you walk up Lan Kwai Fung, you turn left right before C club. You will arrive in a street parallel to LKF (called LKF if my memory serves me right). Lux is just at the corner.
Please support our advertisers:
opposite Dolce Vita or post / club 97 and next to Califonia, nothing amazing about Lux, but more like a meeting point for elsewhere

Space dust: I'm not surprised if we would have met before! :) Aint it a small world?
