Divorce lawyer needed

Hey all,


Does anyone have a Hong Kong-based divorce lawyer to recommend? Straight-forward uncontested divorce. No kids, no joint assets. Married for 6 years.

Did you get married in HK ?


I was able a divorce from my marriage that was performed in HK


It was very easy and didn't require a lawyer.. we were in the same position as you. No complications, no kids etc

This link explains it all... however if it wasn't a HK marriage I believe it may be a little different and sorry I don't have any lawyer recommendations

Can any one recommend a divorce lawyer to talk to find out what things can we ask for and what need to be considered in a divorce. Would like the lawyer to have some cooection or experience in the uk as there is some property involved in the uk.


Look for advice first only (if that is still possible in HK ) so I don't want it to expensive. Actually I don't even know the reasonable going rate. Only heard that it can be expensive.

in order to get advice first you will still have to retain their services, which I would say can cost anywhere betweeen 3000HKD - 5000HKD (or more, if you go with higher priced lawyers who won't necessarily be better).


Message me if you wish to know who I used. And I can also tell you a thing or two about which lawfirm is an outright ripoff but rides on a formidable reputation.
