I think JC's subconscious was trying to communicate the need for a diving holiday somewhere warm and tropical..... it's exactly the same as the description especially when feeling the effects of narcosis at 30 metres!! You don't want to resurface, life is beautiful and more desirable down there with the fishes!!!

Oddly enough I had the same experience as JC only mine was not a dream! I was 4 years old and had fallen into my swimming pool. I remember looking up seeing the sky, seeing swirls infront of me, but rather than not wanting to surface found I couldn't turn around and resurface..luckily my brother was there to pull me out; lucky me eh?

Ah! But JC you have the best of both worlds, you can go diving and he can look after things on land while you're gone! He can be there waiting with a warm drink, or alcoholic for that matter... whatever your heart desires and then you can bend his ear for an hour or so telling him what you saw!!! Maybe it's time for you to have a selfish moment that he has to put up with??!! Sorry if sound bitter there, old habits die hard!

JC I do this all the time...It does feel good and peaceful. You don't hear any noise you don't feel your body and you enjoy a different perspective of things. what you see from the bottom up is modified by the flow, your focus goes on things that you normally don't see this way. I also try to stay as long as I can and do it several times...I wish I could breath! Excuse my french please! Nice to read you and to learn about your eclectic experiences.
