Well I recently found out I have HPV. Its very hard to tell my boyfriend.I didnt get it from him I got it from a past relationship. so what i did was just tell him that I went to the doctor and there is a possibility I may have that because of my baby's father. My boyfriend and I havent had sex yet so he isnt infected. So may I have sex with my boyfriend without infecting him? If my boyfriend and I decide to have sex may I infect him?How do I tell him this without scaring him away? I don't want out relationship to get ruined because of this.

sorry to hear about your condition, buby, but you shouldn't lie to your bf (or to yourself!) about it. both of you need to be treated right away...and same goes for anyone else you two might have infected. best of luck

Buby, if I were you i would get some info off the net ready and tell your man. As mentioned above you need to get this sorted out ASAP, dont try to hide it cos it isnt going to go away. Dont hide this from your BF either, tell him and deal with it together. All info on it is covered in sites prompted by voiceofreason! Take care

For this kind of thing I really believe honesty is the best policy. I met a guy and bless his heart the first thing he said as we got really chatting was that he had HPV - it led to lots of discussion, no sex, but a heartfelt honest converstion that was refreshing to hear. Even if your b/f blows up at first, he will understand you have been the brave one and that he should listen to you and help you however he can. If he doesn't then he's a plonker who cannot handle anything "real", and you musn't beat yourself up about it... hopes this helps you. xx

HPV is not curable as far as I know. does it mean they could never have sex without a condom? What if it's married couple, the wife should never get pregnant because they would have to use a condom? what do you guys think?
