heart-shaped ravioli. he had me at heart-shaped ravioli.
(from our first valentine's day together - he cooked for me at his house. a classic seduction, not at all boring, because he was so NOT a seducer-type, know what i mean? we did a variation of the sultan/slave routine later in our relationship...viking/empress ;-) )

i am indeed still with my viking marauder/chef.
long-distance for now, but he will land on this empress' shores next week and overrun her battlements. (he better!) ;-)

hardy har har! how did you guess?!
he can breach my parapets any time! ;-P
Bear: yes indeed, the viking/empress scenario posits endless historical possibilities, i.e. what WOULD have happened had the vikings actually reached deepest asia *adjusts pince-nez* see, it's not all seduction and sex sex sex...we are actually sharing intellectual pursuits. 8-|
Hahahahahaaaaa! :-D
...re the music: don't laugh, but at one point he put on tom jones' "if i only knew", and before we knew it we were jumping and dancing around his living room like nutty teenagers. it wasn't all soft low throbbing mood music.
as i said he was so *not* a player-type seducer - he was very spontaneous, and frankly some of the ravioli were amoeba-shaped, but the sheer charm of the overall effort overcame me. he remembered what kind of chocolate i liked, a wine i had mentioned i wanted to try, my favorite cut of steak...in fact he made way too much food, because he wanted to cover every major food group i had mentioned i liked.
hmm, reading this i now realize how "cheap & easy" i am when it comes to food! aaargh [blush] it's because i can't cook...
"beowulf"...*chortle*

ref. "eats, shoots & leaves: the zero tolerance approach to punctuation" by lynne truss ;-) everything you ever wanted to know about commas, apostrophes, dashes, etc etc, told humorously (and militantly). but not seductively.

exactly, flabbergasted ;-)... which does a panda do: eat shoots and leaves ~or~ eat, shoots and leaves?
but again...punctuation; not! the, most: seductive - subject.

Hey Bear, it must be very cold in the North, so do you think it's a good idea to sit for a while on balcony? I would not find it seductive:).
I don't want to make it a joke but what if you just forget or miss out a small thing in your scenario? Like in shooting a movie:), they have to shoot it again and again several if not many times for a scene? so maybe you need some rehearsal then:))
I prefer the spontaneousness that some body mentioned earlier. Otherwise she would recognise it a classic scene from movie, not from THE BEAR!

pumpkin, there is a huge market for erotic literature! why not publish it? "the pumpkin diaries"...well ok, maybe a more erotic nom de plume, but you get the idea ;-)

hey Bear, you're the historian (and the seduction ph.d candidate), YOU tell us how viking/empress might go! for example, who conquers whom? and how? (ref. Sultan/Slave, The Pumpkin Diaries)
Please support our advertisers:
Sorry, I find the 'classic seduction' and the whole roleplaying scenario a might contrived. Does nothing for me.
Would rather have something a bit more spontaneous.
