The guy I have been dating for a few months has just celebrated his 35th birthday and thinks that he is too old to learn new tricks (which are not sexual)... I have said that this is not true and can prove him wrong by taking him on some fun and unusual dates in and around Hong Kong.
I was thinking ... ice skating, a private fencing lesson, jumping from the Macau tower, horseback riding and bowling and rock climbing....
I would like some additional ideas and thoughts from guys and gals.

How about motocross riding at Club MX in Sheng Shui? You can rent a motorcycle or ATV, and they provide all the gear and lessons. FUNNN!!!
Mountain biking?
Paragliding?
car/gokart racing at the Zhuahi international circuit racetrack?
Train up and do an action asia adventure race together... like the one on HK last weekend.

I just love roll skating which may sound a bit childish for many of you. I broke my leg because of it but still love to skate.
Whenever my bf and I are together (we are in LDR), we normally take a promenade at weekends and I skate around while he's strolling and it works perfectly for us.

Is the guy ready to take up these challenges, or is he being pressured to? Let the poor 35yr old guy relax, stay home, watch TV, and have a lot of beers. Of course, exercise the next day will be a good idea.

Shaq- you bring up a good point about 'pressure' which has given me something to think about. I was coming from the prespective that it would just be a fun date, something different. Also, what is "chilling" do you mean "hanging out and relaxing"? As he already does frequent a place similar to coyotes to relax.

The motocross is a great idea. Was supposed to do it ages ago with a mate of mine but he backed out. Might ressurect the idea as a birthday pressie for myself.
