that love is everywhere - you need only open yourself up to it. first love yourself, then you can love others, and love will find you.

I've learnt that health is more important than making a buck... that prats who are bosses do not have to make life miserable. That friends are worth their weight in gold and lots of other mushy stuff as well!! I have enjoyed this year for all the people I have met including a number of fellow writers on this forum!!

Happy CHristmas to you all... let's hope 2006 is a great one for all of us... xxxx :)

Pink Tulip - :-D hahaha, how TRUE, i have smelled that Santa too... :-p *blech*

seabreeze, that is my DREAM christmas, and i finally did it!!! i finally learned to say NO to family and social obligations that i used to feel pressured into every year. i stayed in my pyjamas ALL DAY christmas day, watched as much tv as i liked, stuffed my face with all the delicious leftovers and dessert from christmas eve dinner, chatted/surfed the net, thanked the gods-that-be for living in a tropical climate, and guess what?! the world didn't stop turning, my friends and family survived my absence from the usual exhausting frenetic round of christmas day socializing (believe me, no one is having as much fun as you/they think they are), and now i am as happy and relaxed as a pig in sh*t. (i usually need a massively long therapeutic massage post-christmas - SUCH a stressful time, normally.) am also feeling very warm and fuzzy towards all humankind as a result - so happy holidays to all!
