I was turned down for a last minute date, thwarted by mother nature for a full moon, Gluwein hike to the peak, and instead had a lovely dinner with a small group of good friends.
I think my evening was about as lovely as a single guy can have with his pants on. Big thanks to those who attended and organized. You know who you are. :)

I was in aisaxpat starting a thread "A quiet evening" and got deleted.
I went to the hospital as i was not well, i went to bed and did not go to work today.
All my ex replied my greetings but those friends i met recently , nobody seems to reply! what a rude world.

My studnt called me up at the last min and asked me to go to his house tutoring and we just ended up having two whole hours oral presentation and discussion over the AL paper.
What I dun liek about V-day si that my parents own a flower shop and i have to pack bouquets for lovers every year but never got any from any guys I went out with because all believed that I have been so used to flowers that i didnt even want one piece of it... but somehow... I want to receive flower myself~ hehe

Arethusas - i know how you feel. Had a friend who was a chef. She cooked all the time, and nobody every cooked for her, as they though she didn't want it... but, she really DID want people to cook for her... it was the though that counted, not always the quality of the food. I hope you find a nice boy to send you some flowers soon. When's your birthday? ;)

Mine was great....ordered room-service and had a huge dinner with my family.
Not forgetting the delicious dessert and coffee.
Later had a lovely warm bath in my long tub with hubby. The rest is history............in BED!!!!

My valentine's day turned out bad. Well, or I should put it this way, my V-day was ok and turned bad after 12am. :(
Having difficult time with my fiance lately. I really dunno how to carry on this LDR anymore :(

cybersprocket - I thought so too. Thought the bad days are over and thought the advice from the ladies will help.
Maybe it just takes time...not to wait for my fiance to change...but for me to embrace him 100% as he does for me.
For me, distance is probably the real killer of our relationship...

cybersprocket- we are 12 hours plane (one way) apart from each other. It has been only 11 months and we have seen each other twice during this period of time.

Well to turn the mood back to a lighter one - I ended up having a great evening... cava, steak, more cava and great conversations with a lovely group of people. It totally made my Tuesday and in fact has turned out to be auspicious for today too!!
