Hi,
sometimes, i will have drinks with my friends in LKF. Those westerners that we met, they are just so so. But, I want to find some good westerners who are serious in relationship or even want to have Long term relationship or get married with a HK girl. I like to hang out with westerners but don't know where i can meet them except LKF. Can anyone tell me where i can find those good westerners? If you are the expat and you think you are the one i mentioned, please reply me so that I know there is someone in HK.

thanks everyone replying my message. are you guys saying that going west can find the good westerners? I have been staying in HK for nearly 30 years. Although I travel sometimes when I have holidays, I can't leave Hong Kong at this moment until I find my right one (hopefully is a westerner). I am not desperate in finding my boy, but somehow I just want to know whether there are some good westerners in HK but not overseas. Good westerners in HK, let me know where you are.

Do some things that western guys like to do. I'm a sport nut... so I play tennis with a group of western/locals, i run with two different running groups and I organize hikes periodically.
Try some of those things and you'll find some decent western guys... and if those activities don't excite you, try the ones that do... but get out of LKF and you'll do fine.

Honestly, I think going to the West to find good westerners may sound more reasonable. Do not think there is many good ones around in Asia, my dear...

asiahk...im not sure where in HK you can find "good westerners". People are people...if you're looking in LKF, you get what you get. Everyone who goes there knows the type of people you'll find there, including yourself! Change your venue and maybe you will find what you're looking for.

hi, seems that everyone is waiting for my reply after lots of people commented about my thread. In fact, i am not a girl who is looking for fun in LKF, but enjoy the time with friends going there for drinks. I like to take part in different types of sports like hiking in order to release my stress after whole week working. But,
doing exercise or playing sports with friends would be better than doing it alone. Although i have some female friends who do it with me, it is difficult for us to gather as we work at different time. I just want to meet different and nice people in HK. do you think you are the one here?
In fact, i did travel and study overseas and i am not Ms. C as I never look down on anyone. thanks for everyone here giving me your valuable comments and I do hope that each of single girls and guys can find your true love.

Wow, i can't believe that this thread made people leave so many comments. Now, i feel that it is quite difficult to meet good westerners in HK coz i don't know what they are thinking. People comment my thread seems not helping me but just having fun with me. But, doesn't matter coz i still enjoy chatting with different people around the world. sorry that i haven't replied for a long time as i was busy at work. raincatcher, i haven't got any good westerners so far but seems that this thread is full of different people commenting different things. Although i haven't met any westerners in LKF, i still enjoy my life with friends even chatting here with different friends.

hey. I think if you go for someone not too attractive or rich. It's easier to find a relationship. Westerners here tend to have a well-paid job here. They have many choices of Asian women. I just got back from Australia. Everywhere is the same. I studied in London for a while. So I have been to many bars in the world. Decent guys with good looks and a good job tend to have a girlfriend already. They are of 20 percent of the population. you need to find a good job overseas to search in the company or join classes to meet one. But as I said, if he is handsome and rich, he doesn't want to settle down. Maybe wait for him to get to 36 or 37 yrs old. the right timing is important.

Can I ask what a good westerner is please?
Are you talking good looking, well paid or just faithful?
On a sidenote, could I ask, where are westerners best recieved, HK, Shanghai or Beijing, or are they only popular amongst Hkers?
Im moving to teach in China for a year and want to know where the best place to go would be, alot of the reason being that I am looking for a Chinese Girlfriend (Not a fan of girls in my own country (UK)).

Hi, I am back. thanks for leaving so many messages in my thread. To answer your questions, first, I normally go for a drink after work. So, I don't really wear sexy clothes to LKF but just a casual t-shirt and dress or suit that i wear to work. Maybe this is the reason I don't really meet any 'good' westerners. Second, I haven't met any 'good' westerners yet but know some expat in HK, recently, I am not eager to find any westerners coz i know that the more I chase for it, the less chances i can meet. So, i will take it easy. At last, what i think a 'good' westerner is that he doesn't need to be good looking but he needs to be faithful to me. maybe those westerners in hk are like having fun so i can't really find them. anyway, i will take everything easy and move on. thanks everyone here giving me valuable comments. ^_^
