The other day there were six of us guys siting around, discussing women, as you do. Five of us reckoned we had been taken to the cleaners, financially, at least once by a female partner. All five were adamant there was at least some dishonesty or unreasonable vindictiveness involved. Assuming we were fairly representative, the best advice one could reasonable give a young man about to enter a serious relationship is "watch your wallet, my boy"

All disturbingly, even boringly, similar -- break-up time they make a lunge for your wallet, like baracudas after whitebait. Basically they try to legally screw you for every cent they can during settlement -- so its only prudent to hide away a cent or two -- ie don't trust the little darlings too much
