boyfriend found it difficult to fall in love

i need some opinion on this situation(esp if ur a guy), well not really a dilemna or anything but want to undertsnad it a bit more:).


ive been with my bf for 10 months now, but ever since the first day i met him it was special, and he knew it was too. ever since ive gone out with him ppl have told me theyve never seen such a chemistry between a couple before(w hcih is a good thing i guess:) but never thought of it too deeply.


i also found out he's had alot of short term relationships like 10 ex gfs and 6 sexual partners:s..but oh well the past is the past. but he did warn me from the beginning he is commitment phobe..and he's been freaked out in the past before and warned me if he does that pls give him space.(but it hasnt happened yet)


a few months ago i said i love you to him but he didn't say it back, and i was kind of uspet and confused cause he did say it a few times but apparently it was just something like he;d say to his grandma as well. so iw as pretty hurt, but i guess it was undertsnadble. he told me he'd only say it if its marriage based or its the one, cause he thinks he's too young to know what love is. and hes never said it before


then it was time for me to head back to hk from the uk, when i departed he told me he loved me and he meant it


now ive been thinking about it all the time, if he is the type of person that finds it really difficult to fall in love, does it mean im marriage based to him already:S- im very naive in this situation cause i geuss i find it easier to fall in love compared to him so i wouldn't understand his action. but can someone explain to me what it means:), tho i am very happy in the current sitatuon just want to know more><

im 19 and he's 21, yeh we met studying in the uk. nah im going back to see him cause i have 2 more years to go to complete my course. i guess i am very young:( but sometimes i cant help but think cause his mum and sister told me they found it very weird for someone like him to talk about a girl alot..cause he's never done that with his previous gf before. and in commitment phobe..its cause 2 of his ex gfs have cheated on him beofre..so it kind of set a foundation on how he reacts to any relationship.


in terms of marriage based its cause i said i love u to him after 6 months of going out, and he didn't want to say it back cause he thinks he is too young to know what it means, and he's never said it before as well. and generally as a person he told me he finds it difficult to fall in love with someone cause he is a deep thinker about situations like this, and is most likely to say it if it was marriage based.


so when he said it to me when i left and said he meant those words..i was wondering does that mean im marriage based then..but obviously im not going to take it to heart, cause we are young after all.

i am sorry to say you are far too much to young to understand love. I think you better study more and then grow up more to experience. Gosh I think he got far too many girlfriends at his age and he defo dunno what love is.
