Kissing is definately an intimate gesture. I mean it's where it all begins really. I think you can have sex without kissing and it can mean a lot less than just one passionate kiss.

depends on where the hands and fingers are. is she groping the rod? is he rubbing the knob? those acts would elevate the kissing to 2nd degree murder area. otherwise, live and let live.

anybody ever considered that feeling compelled to kiss someone might be a good thing. It evaluates if you are still in love with someone or not. I had to leave my GF for more than 1.5 year, in the mean time it just so happened that I ended up kissing 3 different girls, it all ended right there, it didn't feel right, so it assured me that it was worth staying single for this one special girl that I truly loved and loved to kiss hug, go to bed with and get back up with the next morning.

I don't feel bad about kissing those other girls, they helped me get over the lonely moments, I do feel sorry for them that it didn't work out for them.

if kissing is as intimate as sexual intercourse, why do you happily kiss your g/f in front of your mum?
