I Have A Question.

I am a stay-at-home mum who knows nothing much about computers and other hi-tech gadgets. And my husband very much knows that I am a complete computer idiot.

Here's my question: Is it possible for someone to fabricate a email ?

I am suspecting that some of the e-mails that my husband forwards to me are not real. He forwards his business invitations via e-mail to me to justify his late working hours.

Why he has proved to you he works late!

Email is nothing if he is lying, he can do everything in the office too!

Apologies if this is a blow.

It is very very very easy to fabricate a forwarded email with a quite small amount of computer knowledge.

Here is one below, it took just a couple of minutes.

Thanks all.

Justknow, that's funny.

mpl, my husband does not like to talk about his work. I am just suspecting that he is pretending to be busy entertaining his clients when he is not. I am just a nosy wife.

I never pressure my husband to prove anything. It all started when my husband began working late till 2-3am, 2-3 times a week and my kids kept asking me if their daddy was coming home to see them. I had to ask him. That's when he voluntarily started to forward invitation emails to me. My husband is a very quiet person. If you don't ask, he won't tell. I'm the opposite. Even if you tell, I still want to know more.

qzstone, honestly, I trust my husband. But there's always that " just in case " thought. No, I can't be "cool" by not asking any questions or suspecting anything. Chang, I think it's more the guilt of not spending enough time with the kids and hence the emails.
