Ed,

Isi's choice of words may have been unfortunate, but I would tend to think they were quickly misinterpreted. I thought it was a valid point and not a non-constructive one, even if it meant adjusting the phrasing to clarify the idea.

I am rather new on the forum, I read it nearly every day and have been enjoying that activity so far, but I have participated a few times and found that the threads eventually were removed (I'm not saying it was anything more than chance).

It is always a bit of a shock, since there's not always a warning or an explanation as to what that is. Also, there doesn't always appear justified but random. I've read much worse or aggressive statements previously....and they didn't get the same treatment...

As a result, I now find myself reluctant to participate at all.

I am even wondering if that comment in itself is gonna get me warned or excluded at all from the forums... That can't be right, to feel like this.

Maybe I need to understand the rules applied here?? Any help in that?

Generally we will issue some form of warning if unacceptable content was posted - if what was posted was way over the top we ban people - they get an email notice.

Sometimes we move threads to more appropriate forums - put put a notice that is sent to their control panel but often people dont check their messages so dont realize they were moved... likewise with warnings.

I would estimate that less well under 0.05% of all comments get moved or removed - if the rules are followed people dont have any problems - however people often forget to read the rules and think this is a free for all like most other forums....
