I just want to express myself, not to blame anyone. The story is one of my friend send me 3 sms last night at 2.30am, it's bother me as I was sleeping. I told him not to send again after mid-night as I usually go to bed after 12. Don't know why he ask me why I am so rude. Anyway, I don't care about anymore as I will turn off my mobile once I go to bed. I hope he will not complain me because of not reply his sms after mid-night.

I don't think you're being rude, one shouldn't be sending SMS that late unless you know that person well enough and you're sure that person is not asleep and/or it's an emergency. I've had my share of late night wrong numbers etc so always turn my phone to silent before I go to bed now.

I think rude is the wrong word...this person is inconsiderate, maybe even lost track of time? However, for god's sake though, just turn your phone off at night and stop complaining!!

Fully agree with gwern, take it easy, just turn your mobile off or on silent mmode. No need to complaining, tons of people have such experience and that's not that difficult to fix up.
