Moving on after a break up - HOW?

My situation is quite tricky, not sure how to think, feel. i gotta know a UK guy while he was travelling round asia. The first time we met, we kinda hit it off. He continued his travels for 2 mths, and during which we were in constant contact etc and even met up with him in my home country (i'm not from china). He stopped his travels and moved to SHA with me. Has been staying with me since Jul'06. Things hasnt been rosy all the times, we are quite alike in more ways than one. He has left to make use of a working visa applied in another country. Prior to him leaving, we went on a 2week holidays, trip was good btwn us, kinda brought us closer. A few days after returning from the trip, he left via heading to BKK to take connecting flight to the work country. Since then, i have only received 1 mail and its nothing personalized, just a generic one that was sent to everyone else too. And i also found out from someone that he has been sleeping with a Thai girl. He has told me before he is not that sort of guy to sleep or pay for pros, but he is doing it now. And have also found out that he is hving problems with his visa and as such has to stay on in bkk for indefinite time till things are sorted out. And this means he will be spending those times with that girl.


I have so many questions. Cld this be his way of getting over me? Did i mean nothing to him? What shld i do? Shld i reply to his mail? I am sensing that the reason why he didnt send me another one is because i havent replied to his last, and i am sure he has taken it as a sign that i am avoiding him etc. Its very painful to know he is screwing around. How do guys get over a r/s even though its them who asked for the split. Can guys help me out on this, pls? Thanks very much for reading and replying in advance.

Where did you get from "sleeping with a Thai girl" to "he is [paying for a pro] now"?


Or did you miss out on sharing some detail (i.e. your friend told you this Thai girl is a "pro")?


You couldn't really be thinking all Thai girls are "pros", right? Maybe he has a legit girlfriend. I'm pretty sure there is as high a percentage of "pros" in Shanghai (and probably in your home country too) as there are in Thailand. Thailand is a very conservative country and it has a bad rap as far as prostitution goes...
