I met a guy at work who is very charming and I like him being very nice to other people at work too. In the beginning, I didn’t think that he would notice me but he did. He tried hard talking to me whenever he could and did take a good care of me while at work. However, he let all these happened secretly. He has left HK now as he is not based here. I told him that I would miss him but he messaged me and said I shouldn’t miss him or it will spoil our adventure but he also told me not to forget that he’s coming back. Do you think that he is just a playful guy who is successful at work, travels a lot and just looks for a local pretty girl in every single city he goes? The last night we had a drink together with other overseas colleague and I noticed that he did kept sending and checking his cell phone for text messages. I am a bit confused…

i'm sensing some classic signs of players...don't take him seriously. if he continues to woo you when he returns you can give him a chance, assuming you don't have a bf yet by then, but you should always keep your eyes open and keep it real, ie the messages and how much time he's actually spening in hk...girls like you and me tend to turn really stupid in face of a possibility of a relationship.
