All my life I have been waiting to meet the man of my dreams and yes he has just come along.I am british and he is Italian both met in Hong kong.
Just found out he has a Thai wife who married him for his money and when it ran out so did she.
Now he is left with a heart that cannot love again.As much as we both want to make it work he can not get passed his broken heart and there is no trust, and he asks for time, but I have no time to wait due to my age.I only have time to fall in love.

make your dream doesn't become a nightmare.
it sounds like you are moving faster than he would like.
there's no big rush unless you want to have a child.

Cezzer, sorry about your situation as its really not ideal. But since he is the man of your dreams, ie, close to irreplaceable, then I reckon the best thing is to stand by him as he heals, without pressuring him into anything.
I too have met a guy who was so in love with his young, gorgeous Thai wife (from his story, seems like she worked as a bar girl). She split after a year, with all the expensive designer goods she made him buy, and together with a lump sum to pay off her housing loan back home. While he wasn't my dream guy, I could see how much pain he was in.

You can't "save" anyone. And yes, you'll probably heal him enough for him to carry on with his life, which most likely won't be with you.
Find someone who is "available" and secure.
