Is he interested or not? Can't figure him out.

I like this guy friend of mine for a year. His best friend likes me but I don't like his best friend. I've made it clear that I am not interested in his best friend. He has told my friends that he won't make a move at me because 1) his best friend likes me... "it's just not right". 2) he thinks all I do is party. I am not a party girl but everytime we meet we always end up at a party. I talked about watersports but he can't swim then I talked about racquet sports but we never can book the court. I don't know if he is using his friend as an excuse and he really is not interested in me? I noticed lately he's afraid to touch me. Last weekend, I fell on the ground and he was so afraid to touch my hand to help me get up! I just can't figure him out! Please share any advice you may have. Thanks a lot!

If i were you,i would summon courage to court him if i like him.life is short.you dont know what will happen in your way of life,try to get chance to talk him so you can make everything clear instead of confusing here and there.
