I think I had been scammed

I am a Canadian, 8 months ago, I got married to a girl in China. Just last week, I had learned from her company that my wife gotten fired from her job as she was caught on-goingly sleeping with one of her client. When I confronted her, she said nothing and now she no where to be found, missing. I tried numerous time to call her cell, but her billing was unpaid. I have now given up, and wished to apply for a divorce under adultry. We own a home in Guangzhou, under both names, but I paid for it. And now, I wished to do vthe court proceeding, but problem is that I can't find her... Can Someone give me some direction? Should I seek for help from the police? May be perhaps the Canadian consultate?
