Hi,
I am interested in doing a story about the first two years of marriage for a Hong Kong TV documentary program.
There is a lot of writing out there to suggest that the first two years are the hardest, and that separation/divorce is common during that time.
In short, how a couple weathers the first two years of marriage can either make or break it.
I am interested in talking to singles and couples - happily married, unhappily married, separated, divorced - about this. Men and women.
If you are interested in being filmed for the program, it can be done so that your face is not shown, and your identity is kept anonymous.
I have seen so many couples struggle in the first few years - adjusting to all the changes, positive and negative, that marriage can bring - and want to explore these issues.
There's complexities to work through in early marriage - sorting out money, time together, time alone, in-laws, conflict, expectations.
Please email me at kumi.taguchi@atv.com.hk if you have any questions.
I appreciate your time.

Interestingly enough, a very well-known Australian Test cricketer (Brett Lee) and his wife have split, after two years of marriage.

Actually that was the spark for the story. Being an Aussie, and therefore a cricket fan (!), their split seemed to reiterate the stats. Thanks for the feedback.
