A Light-hearted Question

Hello All,

I am looking for some suggestions.

My husband is Hong Kong Chinese and I'm from the States (not Chinese). We have a 10-month-old son and we live near Yuen Long. My husband works in a blue-collar job and I stay at home to take care of our son.

I am looking for suggestions for classes, clubs or activities available in Hong Kong. Neither he nor I enjoy the pub scene as we don't drink much. We would like to sign up for an activity that we can do together that will be fun and in which we can meet new people and learn something new.

He is very athletic and I am mildly athletic. We are open to any suggestions/information--even silly or funny suggestions are welcome.

What do you do in HK for fun with your spouse?

Thanks!

How about hiking? The Maclehose Trail, for example. It's a very long trail and is best done in stages.

Thanks Teenybear. We have done quite a bit of hiking around the city but I will check out the link you posted.

Any ideas for courses we could take together--dancing or any other activity?

Um....I am kinda looking for a class or activity for my husband and I. Are you married Eric? Maybe if we find a class we like you and your wife can go too.

Salsa/latin dance etc, very popular in the West and groing very popular in Shanghai. I don't know about HK but it seems to push the buttons for both cultures. Also goof for fitness and body toning.
