i know there are resources out there for getting help for the men who are being abused outside hong kong, but is there one in hong kong?
my dad is severley being emotionally pressured by his wife (my evil step mother) for reuniting with his eldest son. i am the first born, and after divorcing with my mother my brother came next.
my dad is now being reunited with the son and are having a marvellous time catching up. my brother adores him and vice versa.
while we are all enjoying our family time privately, this lady told our helper that she will threaten to put MORE pressure to my dad if he does not listen to her and look after their children. (my dad is a very very commited father to all his kids, his kids with the evil s.m are all on my dad's side too, i don't think they fancy their mother too much)
out of respect for my dad, i don't budge into their business or talk to their kids and back stab their mother. i am very diplomatic and try to stay out of their way as much as possible.
but with my dad's long lost son visiting us this week, she has put extreme pressure on my dad and is making him feel the lowest possible with her painful words. my dad for the 1st time has come to me (i'm the eldest sibling) to finally admit his pressure and how he argued with her and how it's hurting him to hear her talk crap about his recently reunited son saying mostly about his physical appearance and all that. she has said alot of nasty things about me too in the past, but i brush it off co'z it all just sounds like a whiney kid wanting attention. i want to help my dad and maybe talk to someone professional who is an expert in this field. she even threatened to take their kids from him and see how he can handle it b'coz she seemed to have so much confidence in taking the all 4 kids ALONE to herself. yeh right.
i love my dad, and i hate to see him go through this. i cannot talk to my dad coz' it will make him even more depressed. i don't know what to do.

Website, listing services for Men.
In particular... you could ask Caritas Hong Kong Family Service Hotline for Men Hotline : 2649 1100 (2pm to 5pm every Wednesday)... maybe they have other suggestions as well.
But the question is: will your dad feel comfortable calling a hotline?
