Men and their pride- part 2

I just want to let you know that he didn't vanish. There were a lot of technical problems that interrupted our communication, but most of all he needed to feel wanted, desired, as he probably didn't know how deep my feelings for him are.

Some men do run because they want to find out how far you would go to pursue them. I didn't come across as needy or desperate, just hurt by his disappearance, ready to let him go if this is what he really wanted. It took me several attempts to reach him befoe he agreed to resume our communication.

I don't know what will happen next, but at least we both know that we want each other. Pride kills too many budding relationships...i swallowed mine and just followed my heart.

One or two olives?

We are told that men like to chase...so we assume that if he doesn't chase us, he is not interested.

But this assumption is not necessarily true for all men, and it puts us in a very passive position.

Men fear rejection as much as women, so showing interest, and doing our bit of chasing can re-assure them that we are for real, if we get out of our confort zone it shows determination.

I am glad i didn't listen to those friends who said, stop writing, stop calling, get over him.
