hk divorce -alimony advice

Hello . I am in the beginning stages of separation /divorce. We are starting to discuss amicabley ..but who knows really . i am not interested in funding a pricy lawyer so looking for feedback on how to "get on through to the other side " as fast and painless as possible . would welcome views.

We both work , have been married for 10 years and have 2 children . I earn 3x more than she 50 vs/150k month but my earnings are very volatile and hers steady .

How to decide alimony ? can it change with job status or place of residency? Uk/US . How binding are these HK divorce papers.?

Would welcome comments and would like to know what sort of lump sum payment take place..is it 50/50 for the duration of the marriage ?? What if she is the adulterous one - ?? who judges this stuff ??
