I'm very sad in this moment. My darling leave HK on June. He is British and I'm local. He go back to London for working but he will come back on Oct but only stay here for 2 weeks. His job need to travelling a lot. We are just starting our relationship. How can we keep the long distance relationship?? Any friends support??

For a long distance relationship with an English guy, you need strong linguistic abilities to keep the relationship going, and you also need a man that he really going for it!!! Without these two components, the relationship will soon get boring and disappear.

I agreed with My Hong Kong, it is hard to maintain a normal relationship even if two persons live in the same city, Long distance relationship makes it even harder... anyway, you just have to go with the flow and see how it goes, in the meantime, meet with friends, engage in your favourite passtimes, don't just sit there and be sad.. good luck

Having come from a long distance relationship which ended in marriage, i can say that it can work. However, it really depends on how you feel about each other. You havent mentioned your intentions for continuing the relationship, so im assuming that you would like this to be long term?
Most people know after the first meeting the reasons for continuing a relationship. For some it is just a casual thing to pass time until the next one comes along, and some know almost immediatley that this is the one. If it is the later for both of you, then you have nothing to worry about, if its not, then there is nothing you can do to change it in anycase. Web cam?? Maybe you can prolong the relationship, but it seems to me that that scenario would only hurt you more? Is he coming back in October for work or on a holiday to spend time with you? Just go with your instincts.. do you think you are the one for him? If you are, you wont need to ask him to call you, write to you, and chat via webcam. He will want to do this on his own. So even if you cant tell yet, be aware of the signals coming from him in the coming months.

You don't he is a liar. My mom was dating this man names Stephen buckman who has swindled her of thousands of dollars cause he says his profession has him travel a lot. He claims he can't come back for a couple of weeks and stays away for months demanding money for a plane ticket to SFO airport. It just goes on. Be ware. He claims to be a widow and has a son by the name of david and a mom that lives with him from italy
