I was walking on a road somewhere in NT when a car passed me and stopped and moved backwards, in short the handsome guy on the wheels offered me a lift, he looked harmless so i hopped in. We exchanged numbers for some reasons...2hours after he dropped me off he sent me a message saying that i put a smile on his face for the day, that if he could call sometime and we hang out blah, blah. After 3weeks of exchanging text messages he invited me to his pad, the 2nd visit we had fun, 3rd, 4th and 5th...we dont do just sex but we cuddled, watched movies, laughed and drunk ourselves. The sad part is i have to leave hk and have to work somewhere. I know that he is a player and i am too idiot falling for him. its been months since i left but he is still on my mind. Sometimes, i think that having a same sex relationship is better than dating/flirting with opposite sex (in my point of view)...argh i just cant get over him...how can i move on?

I was thinking along the same lines. The only place I have heard of a man driving along and offering someone a ride would be in some place like Dubai or the UAE where it doesn't end any place happy for the happless woman who accepts the ride.
Bit naive to be accepting a ride from a stranger, but then, looks like they both got what they wanted except that OP didn't bargain for the whole issue of endorphin release making her hung up on this roadside romeo.

well, you could wear a skimpy outfit and take a stroll in a posh neighborhood in the country where you are now. am pretty sure you would befriend someone as exciting as this boy pretty soon. i mean, who on earth does not like having sex, cuddling, watching movies, laughing, and drinking for free?
otherwise, you may try a same sex relationship, if you are feeling very very socially adventurous. especially if you are asian. wait till your parents find out. with the excitement you will get from that event alone, this boytoy will fly out of your mind in 5 secs. results guaranteed.

There seems to be a younger generation that has spent so much time passively watching TV and the internet that they have not spent enough time learning to relate to fellow humans in general, but especially to members of the opposite sex. This leads to the meme that members of the opposite sex are hard to get along with, and one might as well just give up, and pursue a same sex relationship.... not because one has passion for persons of the same sex (like a true L or H), but because one is too lazy to make a heterosexual relationship work, and the same sex relationship appears as a panacea.
Sweet 24 > Anything of value has a cost. Relationships (of any kind) require work. Do not obsess with the man who picked you up. You will meet other men.

it happened daytime and 3-minute drive away from town. we knew that we like each other before we had sex. his car is old model dirty and messy, he looked a little bit shabby even its obvious that he just showered. he even walked on his barefoot when we stopped at the gasoline station...but i like the way he is...he is not an executive or businessman type, i dont know if he is poor or rich but i know what he does for a living.

I know you are just naive and not meaning to be racist, but everyone are individuals and make their own choices, it's nothing to do with the color of their skin. I think I see why this guy didn't think your relationship was going anywhere.

Amparo you are full of sh!t and just being mean. There's no reason why that couldn't happen... it's no different to meeting guys anywhere else.
I'm sure if these two were suited to each other and this guy didn't have to leave HK it could have worked out just fine, but they weren't. Obviously the guy did do his 'due diligence' (he wouldn't have spent so much time with her if it was just for sex) but it didn't work out.

You got picked up on the side of the road, you fell for the guy, he is now telling you to stop making harrasing calls so early in the morning and also, as if the whole aspect of "time to move on" hadn't already dawned on you when you moved, he has flat out told you that he is seeing someone else.

i still love him though...i cried a lot esp when i remember the times that he would call asking me if we will cook and eat dinner at his place or he will grab something that i would like to eat. i always take a trip down memory lane...its killing me.
