ADVISE FOR AN AFFORDABLE CIVIL CELEBRANT

Hello Everyone,

I am new to this forum and i am seeking an advise where to get a very affordable Civil Celebrant.

We are foreigners and we don't have any idea where to find one in the city of Hongkong, we would like to be close to Hong kong airport.

We have our necessary documents to be submitted to marriage registry and we have 15 days window before we get married.

Is it possible to just go walk-in?

There is a link on there for the current list of civil celebrants. Many of them also have contact numbers on there, so I would suggest you call around and see what their prices are, but more importantly, what their availability is for the window of time you are interested in.

Thank you for your reply! yes i know the website, i inquired to some Civil Celebrants on that list but it is too expensive, they are charging HK$5000 not including the processing fee of HK$500.

I hope i could get cheaper than that.

Weir & Associates are great. I would highly recommend them, but I have never used them for getting married! :) But one thing I can say is that they are professional and pretty reasonably priced on their hourly billing.


($5000? Daaang! Thats a lot for a mere 15 minute ceremony to say I DO!)

Yes exactly, it is very expensive, it's the WONG POON CHAN! it's rediculously way too much!

It is so hard because we have never been to Hongkong, i am looking for a hotel and civil celebrant close to the airport. If you have more idea, i really appreciate it!

By the way i emailed the weir & associate, i am just waiting for their reply.
