This may come across as a silly question:
So I have this 'professional' contact, and he knows very well I don't speak Chinese (Mandarin) - although he's aware I am trying to learn it on my own.
My issue is that he keeps trying to correspond with me in Mandarin, and I find that kind of offensive (we're both in Europe atm). Why doesn't he write to me in a language we both understand?! I've been putting effort in trying to translate the content of his emails so far, but it's getting annoying!
Is it just me or does it sound weird to you as well? What do you suggest I do? Tell him I can't flippin' comprehend him or what?
