I am new to Macau, I am an attractive, fit, tall blond educator, 50ish who wishes to meet other professionals for conversation and outings, does that happen in Macau? Or must one travel to Hong Kong?

Thank you for the insights. What does MIT stand for?

Gee, of course it is the MIT I know, as a graduate of Thunderbird school of Global Management, I am sure there are some fellow alums here. I have been in the mountains of Colorado too long!

Although I definitely feel Blond many times, especially technologically, I am the wild mountain flower who loves adventure, hence I am here to explore!
I love the smallness here in Macau, there are many sights wedged in between buildings, but I long to explore natural beauty. Hong Kong seems so huge, one would certainly need a guide!

Hi. Leslie, I'm high educated. Can we swap photo at the first begining?
Cheers!

your chance will still be with the western people (i guess you're a westerner, tall and blond) because of size and height. besides size and height, the local chinese would prefer younger women, 18-25 years old. but then in Macau, how many westeners could you find besides the tourists who prefer the young local women? still it's possible, i don't want to discourage you, but it will be quite tough because there aren't many western older men available in Macau, maybe the portuguese who most probably are married anyway.

Thanks for your insights. I think connecting with my alums from Thunderbird is the best hope for companionship, I am not looking for marriage! Just to have some fun and intelligent conversation.

I would love to venture forth. Do I need my Thunderbird transcripts or would outsiders be also welcome ;P The logistics would be challenging, I am looking at possibilities since I haven't a clue where the HK Country Club is, but I will sleuth it out and seek transportation choices.

So00, I made contact with our HK alum office and just tonight they are having a meeting and I am going to take the plunge and travel to HK for the first time!
Wish me luck!...Hopefully, I can also find an MIT alum to the function Friday. ;)

OMG so much work to get to a PARTY of engineers and mathematicians! I love their grounded opposition to my artistic character!

malka, how did you get the info about MIT fall BBQ? are you a member of HKCC? are you a MIT alum? if so i guess you know M.T.? (initials only, don't want to reveal his full name), he will be there most probably.

"went to Thunderbird monthly alumni Meeting in Wanchai. First time in Hong Kong and I was amazed to see all the "workings" girls in front of the café, but had the best Indian food ever! Mentioned to a few alums if they new any MIT graduates, nada...I just don't know very many people at this point and I am sure you must have an invitation from an alumni...

if you have thick face, you could go the HKCC and ask at the entrance if you could join the party saying you are new and come all the way from Macau and you're from US university and would like to meet US university alum, you are lonely, homesick, needs company etc... maybe one of the alum will take you in. try it, nothing to lose, you are already in HKG.
