Hello all, my name is Josie and I am now working on a documentary about expats' life in HK.
I want to know what expats feel like of living in Hong Kong, and one of my focuses is on expat women, do you find it hard to have a serious love relationship here? For those who are in a relationship with Chinese guys, do you find it uneasy to cope with his family or any cultural difference that you have to overcome?
I also want to know if you find any discrepancy of "expected life" and "real life" in HK, so feel free to leave comments here :)
I am very grateful if any of you could give me some insights, if you don't feel like to talk here you can email me at wonghoiki@yahoo.com.hk

Well, of course. There's a big difference with expected life and real life in HK. Before, I thought that i could land to an heir like the one featured in a Taiwan drama - Meteor Garden. But the thing is, I did not enrol to a prestigious university and that makes me impossible to meet that kind of man. But anyway, I'm not that disappointed with my boyfriend now. He has a decent family and works as an admin assistant. We're happy!
