Pregnant and Unmarried by a Swedish National- Hong Kong Resident

Hello everyone!

I would like to get some ideas from you on how to to obtain a dependent visa.

I'm a Filipina and engaged with my fiancé (soon-to-be-husband) who is a Swedish National and a Hong Kong resident, last September 2013. Now, I’m 5 months pregnant and we are deciding to live and deliver the baby here in Hong Kong.

I am only granted for a 2-week visit here in Hong Kong as I only have a tourist visa.

Now, I am really in need of your help to answer my queries below:

(1) Will the HK Immigration allow me to apply for an extension of my Visa/stay here in Hong Kong as we are still preparing for the marriage to be done here in HK? Our appointment in Marriage Registry is this coming October 19 plus two week of processing would be our date of marriage (maybe, November 5). My Exit in Hong Kong should be October 20.

(2) Am I allowed to apply a Dependent Visa here in Hong Kong now even if we are not married yet? I am 5 months pregnant, and we are planning to get married next year September (our 2nd Year Anniversary) in the church in Philippines but Date of Marriage is subject to change anytime soon if circumstances arise.

I am so super stressed now in my remaining days to stay here in Hong Kong. I don't want to travel back anymore because of being pregnant.

get married wherever it is fastest.. apply for a dependent visa..

Neither you can change your stay in hk from visit to dependent.
Nor you can allowed to deliver your baby in any government hospital. You can delivery you baby in the private hospital where the fee is over 100k. However the baby status will be complicated because you had not yet married in hk. So baby cannot given any residence.
So be-careful for any move.
