Met a guy years ago. Had a strong connection. Nothing happened because it couldn't. Now he has returned to my life in a most unexpected way. The connection still feels very strong and whatever I do I cannot get him out of my head. I do not know how he feels. We are never alone and even if we were I don't know how I could bring the subject up. How can I tell if he fancies me and should I talk to him about this ? We are both in situations with other people but I don't believe either of us are entirely happy. The situation of us being here is too weird to ignore. I don't believe in coincidence. What should I do ?

Since you knew the guy for some years, I suppose it doesn't do much harm to spend some more time to explore each other, as common friends or opportunity to develop further. You might get the chance to invite him out for a drink, sort of old friends' get together.About his current relationship, you might not be able to tell. As for your own, feeling unsatisfied or unhappy? Why shut yourself out? You won't know if you find the right one if you curl yourself up. Go ahead with what you feel right.
