Hi Raincatcher,

It's quite a strange situation you are in!!! To be honest, if I was in your shoes, I would probably have figured that he didn't want to be with me after no contact for 5 months and moved on. I really wouldn't have even bothered to contact him to say it's over after such a long time - I would have probably thought that was just a given!

Why are you still classifying him as your boyfriend after such a long time of no contact?? It honestly sounds to me as though he is not really worth it. I can totally understand you are angry, but it's clear he has not been there for you for such a long time, so what makes you think he will start now???

There are so many lovely guys out there that WILL hang around, and although I haven't met you, I am sure you are worthy of a much nicer and more committed man!!

Go get 'em sweetheart!!!

If I went for 6 months without talking to my 'bf' needless to say I would assume that we had broken up.

raincatcher, first you said that you went on a cold war with him and that's why you didn't contact him for 5 months and now, you are saying that you had surgeries and hence you were out of touch...maybe you should try to explain the situation in detail to us first so we don't get this impression that you're only seeking sympathy and not advice...anyway, if your bf loved you then he would've made an effort to contact you in those 5 long months and when you did then he goes mental??!...i say, leave him...he's not worth worrying about..plenty of fishies in the sea!..but hk sea looks dirty!! kekeke

Raincatcher, the more you try and explain, the worse it gets. He's jealous. He ignores you. He is angry when you try and break it off.

There are books written for this type of thing. 1 hour in a "self-help" section of a bookstore will suffice.
