I met this guy and we only went out for once. He kept sending SMS and call from time to time tellling me he wanted to meet again and he missed me. He is a very busy and workaholic man. Finally we can setup our next date which is 2 months after the first one. On that day, he said he has committed to his work and could not meet up. He asked me if I am angry....
My question is - what is in this guy's mind and what is his agenda? Your advice please....

Ivy,
I agreed with aussieinla..... I know some of my guy friends do that ..quite often to be honest.... not that I approve any of it....
However, I also know many of my guy friends are really into work/career that they are lucky if they could go home early at 11:30pm during weekdays and can have 1 Saturday afternoon off a month (esp if they were in Financial industry). So, it all depends what job he is in........ Not wanting to get your hopes up tho, but it just doesn't sound too promising to me....

It may well be that you are his only romantic interest. He may be too busy to form many relationships. This does not mean he is looking for a spare woman on the side.
If he is a workaholic, you need to decide if you can accept his work coming first. Work coming first is very common in China today. Many people are chasing the golden dragon while the economy is booming, and while they are still young. This is a natural urge, but it does affect relationships.
My wife is a bit of a workaholic, but that is due to the nature of the industry she is in and her job. I have to remind her she has a family sometimes.

I don't think he's looking for a spare woman on the side. If he was he'd have made an effort to sleep with you on your second date (seeing as how he's so busy working, he doesn't have time to get laid often). I think his work will just always come first and any relationship you have with this man is bound to be an empty one of lonely nights.
