I am appalled to see the shameless flaunting of the extra -marital affair in court by Tony Chan in Nina wang's case. Read, what he said....I was having an affair with Nina when my wife was preggy with our first child( who he went on to name Wealthee, I question the choice but that is entirely a diff issuse)...what kind of values he is passing on to his kids...that money is everything? values nothing...

Utterly disgusting...it leaves me with a bad taste in my mouth everytime i read his answers in court...shamless flaunting

I wonder how is the wife reacting to all this public shredding of her status , her dignity is compromised in public...and how come she is still with him...yes slimey is the word for him..not that am in favour of any moral policing but still at an individual level, relationships are being notoriously comporomised ..which is saddening

ever thought that his wife might be encouraging him to go for the money?

It certainly doesn't seem like his wife is all that bothered - at least not by her public appearances. I read in the gossip mags that she totally flaunts their wealth - she's apparently a VVIP at the expensive facial and bodyshaping salons and really goes all out on shopping expeditions and overseas trips (bringing along a hoard of servants of course). Well, given their very humble beginnings, I guess the sudden and dramatic rise in fortunes would be a huge head-turning experience.

But I do feel horrible for their children. I read that in court that Tony Chan was trying to gain some sympathy by saying his son Wealthee is feeling really bad from all the bad publicity relating to his name and so he was thinking about changing his son's name (as if his name is the worse prob his son's facing!) - and the other side's lawyer said dryly "Well, that's his problem". Which apparently made Tony Chan go beet-red! (Well, i guess at least it kind of shows that he is capable of feeling some shame anyway.)

Mrs Wang, her fortune teller, and his wife - what a wonderful trio. One gets the impression that all 3 of them would do anything for money. Seems like they deserve one another. I do feel sorry for the children.

Very interesting to note that the sham of a feung shui master, who was sought after by who's who of our society, claims that he is a novice in this art....he used to just refer to a book for changing destinies ...hmmmm..also his description of 'couple games' they played is utterly sickening

To my mind it casts an interesting light on the Chinese elite of Hong Kong and the way they live their lives. I would have thought most of the other Tycoons and well-to-do Hong Kongers must be highly embarrased by this case. It really shows appalling lack of judgement on the part of a fair few of the HK rich and famous who were duped by the so-called Feng Shui Master and his trusty second-hand book.

I should think they are well-pleased that it is not getting as much press space around the globe as it is here.

another shocker in yesterday's paper- Tony Chan said in the court that he went and showed the will from Nina to his wife, which he said was in his name because Nina loved him so deeply.

Goodness Gracious, was this some kind of trio, one man and two women?

Disgusting

@Norman Bates:

'the prosecution has to prove its case "beyond reasonable doubt"'

Since this is a civil case, the plantiff only need to proof preponderance of the evidence (i.e. >50% probable)
