well somehow you need to wait. i tried personals, internet dating, going out and other stuff, but still not meeting any good person. Thou i had a lot of bad experiences but i think the good points is i learn more and i grow up. I got a very relax view on having any relationship.

Do not trust the Asiaxpat personals. Most people lie through their teeth! I met a man on the personals who "forgot" to tell me he had children,then 7 months down the line tells me he is going through a messy divorce. the best thing i've found is to be yourself, your possible partner will accept you for who you are, not what you do or look like. therefore you must learn to accept your possible partner too. beauty is in the eye of the beholder and even the smallest curl of the faintest smile can make the decision between loving someone for life or just having them as good friends.
I think the biggest problem is that you must first come to terms with the way you are. I would much prefer to love a person for who they are than to discover that under all that beuty that they have no idea about life or have any interests... not even in you, but rather, for example, your wallet.
What if you chose someone for their looks and married that person, but soon you become bored of staring at what you thought was beuty. ever hear the saying 'mutton dressed as lamb'?
what will be, will be. the path is never easy and only time will shed light on that which is destined.
