Divorce at HK if pilipino citizen

Hello everyone

I'm seeking for legal advice guys I a divorce at HK but I'm Philippine citizen my lawyer said I am able to use my final decree everywhere but in the Philippine dosent accept because my ex spouse we both Pilipino but know we're divorce at HK my problem is my bf wanted me to take as a fiancé at uk I dont know if my passport valid if still my married name I don't know guys how can I do it to change my passport,I having trouble in my mind if they will accept my divorce paper here in hongkong Philippine consulate please help me for your kind advice

Your current boyfriend needs to sort this out with the British Embassy. Is he based in Hong Kong?


If not he should ask these questions of the relevant authorities in the UK.

No he is from uk citizen it is ok we will find out what happen i went in philippine consulate yesterday they dosent allow me to change my name but they i can use my divorce as considered single outside of philippine law means us i can remarry but not in philippine i am really annoying about my passport some pilipini they said，they can us with thier married name passport its my first time to do so i am little affraid，perhaps if my ex dosent hit or slap me im my face nothing like thise happen

But its dosent matter he happy and im happy right，hopefully i will find out the result i need

Just some advice, the British consulate will not issue you a visa as a fiance! They are so strict! However they will if you are married! Njoy!

You mentioned you we're married and divorce! BF wants to marry you?Did you follow your ex husband last name when you got married or you choose to keep your original last name?

Every Filipino when they get married abroad they have to report and change of status and last name,except if you didn't. Phil.Consul should have a record of your personal information and you need to update the information to the ISO Dept... Goodluck to both of you.
