LOL, Scorpio, if China treats its people so much better why do so many of them still pay tens of thousands of US dollars to come in illegally via Mexico and work for less than minimum wage washing dishes?
Anyway, to gain residence by means of marriage one has to apply for a fiancee visa then get married in the US or get married elsewhere then apply for a spouse visa. The US authorities do attempt to ensure that these marriages are genuine; the couple have to have met in person and the visa can be denied if USCIS thinks it is a fraudulent relationship.
