My group of friends of 10 years do not like my bf.They find him too quiet and do not want to take initiative to talk to them.
Recently,something happened on my side,and none of them dropped a sms or showed concern.My bf commented that is not what frens should be,and why are they so unsteady.They told me they are very unhappy w my bf and dont want him to pass such comments on them!
What am I suppose to do? Who do I side?Will this affect my relationship? Please give me advice

He is just quiet because they have no common topic.But he still have casual chats with them.But my friends dont think its enough. You mean I do not need to do anything and just absorb? But why do my friends want to pass so many comments on my bf.They should know this is personal. So I am doubting if they are true friends.

i would say that if your bf and girlfriends (also if your family) don't get along, it is an early sympton that he may be not right for you. I married one like that it is not working out.

My family likes my Bf.cos he is decent and reliable. But its only my friends who dont like him.Just becos they think he is too quiet and dont know how to approach.But is it important that My frens must Like My bf? Cos I am worried if I get married will I get Hell.

i mean get hell from my friends. Cos my bf is not really bothered, he feels is not his fault that they dun like him.His character is quiet,but my friends were more pissed when my uncle's funeral, they did not come down or sms to show any concern.So my bf said to them why are they like that? So unsteady friends.
My friends BLEW up when my BF commented on them cos they feel he has no right. And they came to tell me : Ask ur bf not say anything about them in future cos they dont even know him. So i am very hurt.
Who do I slp with - implying who is more impt in my life?

How long have you had your BF? Perhaps your quite intelligent friends needs time adjusting to the situation. You have a BF and it would mean more time with him than your friends, which is usually the case. There's some friendship's jealousy in the air cause your friends begin missin' most of your company. And even disliking someone for being "quiet". C'mon, can't they think of any other dislikable trait for a reason?
Give more time for adjustments. If you find happiness with your boyfriend, your friends of 10 years would do the same for you.

I have been with my Bf for 6 years.When i first got attached my bf treated the whole group of friends for PIZZA,cos they wanted to see him.But after that meeting,they kinda dont like him as he is too quiet.So the relationship got even worse with the comments he passed on them.
I think my friends will NV like my BF. Will it be very difficult for me in future?

Real friends, useful friends, would be happy that you have a bf. They would do their bit to be friendly and non judgemental to your bf. Maybe they should get over themselves and let you be happy...

Stop Telling Your Friends What Your BF Says About them! And Dont Share All The Details Of Your Relationship With Them. You gotta absorb in the middle girl. Dont tell him all the negative things they say about him either, this is no doubt making him feel apprehensive when he's around them. You are painting a negative picture of him to your friends. And so lame as they are, the only thing they can say is "he's too quiet". That's pretty weak in my opinion.
