It depends, if the artist is a male, I won't send my gf or wife there! No way no matter how professional he is, sorry about that but sometimes I'm very conservative!

Sure no problem ! We had the same once a week when I studied Fashion. It's called "natural drawing" and teaches you to imagine the silhouette (body shape) beyond the dress you are sketching. What's the problem?

for me I dont see a problem with it. I am very open minded person and dont understand why seeing someone body as a big deal. it is how we have been created and no one can change our body.
sitting as a model is common thing, but as everything else in a realationship ask your partner before you do it, if he agree it is ok.
I am sure most guy are understanding and let you do it, if you really want to do it.

The answer to that last question is easy. I would have no problem if my wife wanted to pose nude for a group of artists, or alone for a female artist, an artist who was a trusted friend, or gay. But a straight male artist whom I don't know? No way. I'm sure there are straight male artists who are well behaved in those situations, but how do you know who is and who isn't? I've been a man for far too many years to trust another man in that situation!

To me it would kind of depend what the goal is of her modelling not as much the sexual orientation of the artist. I mean, if the modeling is just for educational purposes I wouldn't mind a bit, but if her image is going to be used everywhere, say for example, for selling mobile phones I would have a big problem with it. But then again I wouldn't date models for the exact same reason.

Well, heck, in that case just do it. If some guy you meet in the future is freaked out by your having done this, he probably wouldn't be a good match for you anyhow. Have fun!

I don't trust the straight male artist can 100% focus on his arts in this situation. I did study portray few years and somehow I couldn't concentrate and did a good work...
And also don't trust the man he'd declare himself a gay in this case too.
I know I may a bit of over cautious.

10 years ago I was invited to pose naked for an artist who was fast becoming popular. My husband, who was my boyfriend back then, gave me his blessings, and had no issues about it despite his suspicion/knowledge that the artist had a big crush on me.
I was very flattered but unfortunately, I was too shy so I declined the rare offer. Oh, I sat for him 3 times, but I was modestly-dressed. If he asks me again (just wishful thinking), I will not think twice about doing it again!
