Hi, I am young french lady in GZ for 2 months, very interested in culture and specially contemporary painting and sculpture. Do you know any good place to see some?

Hello lou lou... there are two or three interesting contemporary art galleries in Guangzhou. I have been two, one named Loft 345 (I think)and another called Park 19 in Haizhu which has a gallery space. I'm sure that if you go to either of these places they could put you in contact with the real pulse of this cities contemporary art scene. It is a little hard to find but they do have a website: www.park19.com

I am on holidays at the moment and if you need a hand finding Park 19 I am happy to help.
